These brushes are great for applying acid flux to your chassis, pinions and motor shafts.  They allow you to precisely apply the solder where you want it, minimizing solder overflow, and area requiring clean up afterwards.  They even work after the cotton tip has fallen off, which it will.  In fact, we prefer to use them without the tip for even finer application of flux.
